For a little bit of the surrounding nature, head to the Lorettte-Rochefort caves, which goes as deep as 60 meters below the ground.
One of the most stunning towns in all of Belgium, Dinant is like something out of a fairytale. Dating back to the middle ages, the town still retains some of its medieval structures, although many were destroyed during the Second World War. Head to Dinant’s Citadel, a fortress that gives an insight into the town’s impressive past.
While heading to the town of Spa may add a few hours onto your trip – it’s a destination you can’t miss. Set amid the hills of the Ardennes, the town is known for its warming hot springs. The springs have seen tourists to the town since the 1st century, when it was a paradise for the intellectual class of Europe. Book some time at Les Thermes de Spa, which dates back to the late 19th century, and was recently renovated.
The historic city of Brussels is Belgium’s hip and happening capital. Known for its chocolates and beer, the city loves life amid its impressive architecture and financial prowess. Discover majestic 19th century mansions, the city’s most beautiful square, the Grand Place, and its modern art nouveau buildings.
